I didn't set out to work in finance. For years, I was a bookkeeper who taught yoga and fitness classes on the side because I loved being part of my community's wellness world. But when the pandemic hit, the conversations I was having changed. People weren't just worried about budgets anymore. They were asking what would happen to their families if something went wrong, how they'd manage if they lost income, whether they were really prepared for the unexpected.

I couldn't stop thinking about those conversations. I realized I wanted to work at the intersection of wellness and finance because your financial foundation isn't separate from the rest of your life. It touches everything. What you eat, where you live, how you sleep, your mental health, the activities you share with people you care about. When that foundation is shaky, everything feels unstable. When it's solid, you have room to breathe and grow.

So I went back to school, earned my securities and insurance licenses, and never looked back.

What drives me is getting to know my clients as people. I want to understand what matters most to you, who you're building this financial life for, and what keeps you up at night. I specialize in tax-efficient strategies for business owners, including solo 401(k)s and cash balance plans. I work with clients on retirement and non-retirement accounts, disability and life insurance, and long-term care planning. But the most meaningful work happens when we get past the numbers and talk about what's really driving your decisions.

I grew up in Plainview, New York, in a family that talked openly about money. My dad was a CPA who recently retired, and my brother followed in his footsteps. I know that's not common, and it's part of why I'm passionate about financial education. These days, I live in Jupiter, Florida, where I can be outdoors year-round with my two-year-old German Shepherd, Kaia. She's my assistant "furnancial pawdvisor" and my training partner. Weekends are for dog sports, and Kaia has titles in obedience, trick work, dock diving, and fast cat.

I'm not the old-school hard-sell type of advisor. I'm here to be approachable, to educate, to stay connected, and to help you grow. Wealth management is simply what happens when we do that work together.
